Berryman Institute
The Berryman Institute (https://www.berrymaninstitute.org/) is a national organization based in the Department of Wildland Resources at Utah State University. It is named after Jack H. Berryman to honor his distinguished career in wildlife management. The Berryman Institute is dedicated to improving human-wildlife relationships and resolving human-wildlife conflicts through teaching, research, and extension. Utah's Watershed Restoration Initiative
The Utah Watershed Restoration Initiative (WRI) functioning under the oversight of the Utah Partners for Conservation and Development, is a partnership driven effort to conserve, restore, and rehabilitate watersheds in priority areas across Utah. The watershed values we care about are wildlife and biological diversity, water quality and yield, and opportunities for sustainable uses of natural resources. Since 2006, WRIs over 120 partners participating in 5 regional teams have completed restoration and fire rehabilitation projects on over 2.0 million acres in Utah.
Mule Deer Association
The Mule Deer Foundation (MDF) is a non-profit 501 (c) 3 organization with over 40,000 members. MDF's mission is to ensure the conservation of mule deer, black-tailed deer and their habitat. Utah Division of Forestry, Fire, and State Lands
The Division of Forestry, Fire and State Lands is responsible for forest health, responding to wildland fires and managing sovereign lands in Utah.
Each year hundreds of wildfires start in Utah's forests, rangelands and deserts. The Division responds to wildfires on state and private land ensuring that communities, watersheds, rangelands and wildlife habitats don't suffer catastrophic losses.
